Passionate about handmade crafts

Hi, I'm Marjukka – a woman completely in love with handmade crafts, with a true passion for creativity and working with my hands!

I enjoy all kinds of crafts – knitting, crocheting, sewing, macramé… you name it. I love experimenting with new ideas and exploring different techniques.

Details and materials are especially close to my heart. I love the feel of beautiful fabrics, different yarns, and admiring beads in every possible color. Every piece I create is made with passion and carefully finished with great attention to detail.

I often source my materials from recycling centers and flea markets, giving them a new life and purpose. For example, instead of buying new fabric, I prefer to find garments with a story – like a beautiful dress that is otherwise in great condition but has a flaw that can't be repaired. I take it apart and turn the fabric into lovely hair scrunchies. This way, the dress gets a new life. And that's just one example of how I recycle in my work.

I create alongside my full-time job, and as a parent of three, everyday life can be quite a whirlwind. Still – and perhaps because of it – it's important for me to find at least a small moment each day for my crafts. They are my way to slow down, be in my own thoughts, and express myself.

Finally, I decided to take a leap and follow a long-held dream – I created this website and online store. Let's see where this journey takes me…
